- directions: From San Bernardino, take Highway 18 about 20 miles to the Lake Arrowhead exit. Take Highway 173 for 5 miles to the northeast side of the lake. Turn right on Hospital Road and follow it to the campground. (Recreation.gov, Sep 1, 2026)
